Victor Wanyama could make Tottenham return against Swansea

Spurs will travel to Liberty Stadium with Wanyama expected to make the trip, though Harry Kane is doubtful

Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama could make his first English Premier League appearance for Tottenham since August next Tuesday.

Wanyama, who has been sidelined with an injury, has not appeared for Spurs since his last game against Chelsea last August, but he could make a return against Swansea early next week.

Spurs will travel to Liberty Stadium with Wanyama expected to make the trip, though striker Harry Kane is a doubt.

“Wanyama has returned to full training and could be involved against Swansea,” Spurs confirmed in a post.

Kane who has scored 39 goals this year ffor both clubb and country, could miss the trip to Swansea through illness after the England international failed to show up for training on Friday.

Toby Alderweireld has also been ruled out alongside his fellow countrymen Mousa Dembele who has a groin/hip problem.

Spurs, who are fifth on the EPL table with 37 points, have struggled in the absence of Wanyama who has only made two appearances for his side this season.
