VAR rules out Max Gradel’s goal in Toulouse's defeat to Amiens

Toulouse bowed to a 1-0 defeat against Amiens in Saturday’s French Ligue 1 meeting after Max Gradel’s goal was ruled out by the Video Assistant Referee.

Gradel had cancelled out Alexis Blin's opener for the visitors in the 66th minute only for the VAR to rule otherwise.

The technology adjudged the skipper to have been in an offside position before hitting the ball past goalkeeper Regis Gurtner.

After the unfortunate decision, Gradel who has scored four goals in as many games this term had several attempts but could not find the goalscoring touch needed to add to his tally at the Toulouse Stadium.

Toulouse who sit in the 15th spot with 14 points from 13 games will hope to bounce back to winning ways when they visit league leaders PSG on November 24.
