Thika United duo absent against AFC Leopards

Thika United will have to adjust accordingly as they meet AFC Leopards on Sunday

Thika United will be without two of their key players as they meet AFC Leopards on Sunday at Thika sub-county Stadium.

Winger Benson Iregi and forward Joel Tata are out for different reasons, the latter having to serve his suspension after picking a red-card while playing against Bandari. Iregi picked an injury during training three weeks ago and he is still nursing the injury, as explained on the club’s website.

"The physio has cautioned the technical bench to enable Iregi to gradually resume training until his match fitness is attained, hence much time is required for the progress to be achieved.

"Meanwhile Cameroonian import Joel Tata will not be eligible for selection against visiting AFC Leopards on Sunday, following his red card suspension acquired in their 3-0 loss to Bandari," part of the statement read.

The match starts at 3:00pm.
