The striker was left out of the Owena Whales’ 2-1 win over Gombe United last weekend after he was confirmed out with malaria.
The former ABS striker returned to action in the Akure outfit’s friendly encounter over Nationwide One League side, Akure City FC on Sunday.
With only 25 minutes under his belt, he netted twice to lead his side to a 3-1 win.
And the forward has stated his readiness to play a part in their revenge mission at the Agege Stadium as they seek to overturn their first leg loss to the Olukoya Boys.
“I was down with malaria for some days but I thank God I’m okay now and will feature in the game but, hopefully, from the bench,” Otegbeye told Goal.
“I missed some trainings and it's not easy to catch up quick thou I was fully in training activities,” he continued.
On Duke Udi making his debut as the Sunshine Stars coach against third-placed MFM, Otegebeye says: “This is the first match for him and we are fully prepared for this match because of the wound they caused us in Akure in the first round, we are set to give it back to them.“So it's going to be 50-50!”
