Shabana intensify preps for National Super League return with win over Migori Youth

National Super League side Shabana United defeated Migori Youth, formerly Isebania FC, 5-4 in a friendly staged at Gusii Stadium on Thursday.

Both teams are preparing for the second tier season and the match was meant to gauge several players and formations.The ‘Glamour Boys’ had fallen 2-1 to Zoo Kericho in another pre-season match played a couple of days ago at Kericho Green Stadium.

The teams will have to work on their defense with about two weeks remaining before the National Super Lea gue side officially kicks-off. Thika United and Wazito FC were relegated to the second tier and will be fighting with the likes of Ushuru, Nairobi Stima, Bidco and the likes for promotion.

Eldoret Youth, Fortune Sacco and Shabana are the promoted teams that will be aiming at doing better in the league.
