The Ghanaian is happy to have helped Crystal Palace to three points in the English topflight

Crystal Palace defender Jeffrey Schlupp has praised his team's performance in Sunday's 2-1 win over Liverpool in the Premier League.

The Ghanaian lasted the entire duration at Anfield as Christian Benteke scored twice to lift the Eagles to 12th on the table.

"Huge 3 points today. Great team performance and fans outstanding again!!," Schlupp tweeted via his official Twitter handle.

Philippe Coutinho opened the scoring for the home side on the 24th minute, bending a sweet free-kick over the wall and into the left corner from 30-yard.

Benteke, on the books of Liverpool last season, restored parity three minutes to half-time, tapping in from close range after Yohan Cabaye delivered a ball into the box.

The Belgium international then secured three points for the Eagles on the 76th minute, diving to head home Jason Puncheon's cross.
