The Liverpool attacker has seen his value rise more than any other player since the summer transfer window, with Ederson a close second

Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah has seen his transfer value rise by €74.7 million over the past six months — more than any other player — according to an International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) report.

The 25-year-old Egypt international has scored 32 goals over 40 appearances in all competitions since moving from Roma to the Anfield outfit for €42m in June, helping the Reds to fourth place in the Premier League with eight matches remaining.

Based on an algorithm developed by the CIES Football Observatory's research team, Salah has edged Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson to claim his status as the player whose value has skyrocketed the most since the summer transfer window.

Ederson has seen his value rise by €74.4m, according to the study, during a campaign that has seen the Brazilian start 36 matches in all competitions for Pep Guardiola's side.

The 24-year-old made the move from Benfica for a €40m fee in June.

Ederson isn't the only Man City star on the list, with Leroy Sane seeing a €63m increase in his transfer value. The Germany international has scored 12 goals through 39 matches this season for a Man City side that has a 13-point lead atop the Premier League, as well as a game in hand.

Breaking down the largest increases in value for players across the other top leagues across Europe, the study highlighted Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe (€54.7m) in Ligue 1, Barcelona midfielder Paulinho (€42.4m) in La Liga, Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (€40.7m) in Serie A and RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano (€35.6m) in the Bundesliga.

Signed on loan from Monaco this past summer, with an option to permanently sign for a €155m fee this summer, Mbappe has netted 17 goals in 34 matches for PSG this season.

Former Tottenham flop Paulinho, meanwhile, has made 39 appearances for league leaders Barca after a €40m move from Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande.

Manchester United target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has 11 goals in 37 matches for Lazio this season, while Upamecano, 19, has logged 31 appearances for RB Leipzig.
