The Rojiblancos proved too strong for The Black and Yellows as they scored a goal in either half to seal a 2-0 home triumph at Wanda Metropolitano.
The three points have taken Diego Simeone's men joint-top of Group A, with two rounds of matches to go.
"I'd give the team a 10 out of 10 in this match because we played very well from beginning to end," Partey told his club's official website.
Saul Niguez opened the scoring for Atletico on the 33rd minute, before Partey set up Antoine Griezmann for the second goal 10 minutes to full-time.
"We understood the game very well," manager Simeone said.
"We closed spaces against a team which occupies them very well and who were unbeaten. I'm happy because we played as a team.
"Antoine is in an extraordinary moment.
"But the team is in very good shape too; Saul, Thomas, Rodrigo [Hernandez], [Angel] Correa, Juanfran and Filipe Luis..."
It was Partey's third appearance in the Champions League this season.
The 25-year-old came close to finding the back of the net in Tuesday's game when his long-range shot kissed the crossbar in the 37th minute.
