Okwemba: My dream was to retire at AFC Leopards

Charles Okwemba was released by Sofapaka after securing a job with the county government of Vihiga in Western Kenya.

"Honestly, Leopards has been in my heart, and my desire was to retire in that team. Last year I tried to get them into signing me, but things did not work out. They took a long time in making a decision and I ended up joining Sofapaka," Okwemba told Goal on Thursday.

"Well, I had unfinished business at The Den but I was not given a chance to attend to it. But I wish them the best in the league, and will always support them."

AFC Leopards is currently placed in the bottom half with sixteen points from fourteen matches.
