The Mysterious' star has reiterated his desire to win the top-flight's golden boot in order to move to Europe for greener pastures

Ebusua Dwarfs striker Nicholas Gyan wants to be the winner of the Ghana Premier League goal king race this season.

The 19-year-old has scored 11 goals and provided three assists after 21 games, two goals more than Bechem United star Amed Toure and believes achieving his target will open doors for him to play in Europe.

“Things are going on well for me in the Ghana Premier League and scoring against Tema Youth was a good feeling," Gyan said.

"I am happy with my performance and it's great to get on the score sheet again as your club also pick three points to move up on the league log.

“With nine more games to go, it is my wish to score a goal in all these matches. I need to do well in every game and I believe by the end of the season I can win the topscorer award for the first time.

“Now everything is on course but I still need to work harder than before to achieve such a big dream. I want to play in Europe like the other players and winning the award will really help,” he added.

Gyan will hope to put his name on the scoresheet once more when Dwarfs welcome relegation-threatened Great Olympics to the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Wednesday in matchday 22.
