Mike Makaab confirms Edwin Gyimah to sign for Bidvest Wits

Gyimah is set to return to the PSL months after leaving for Sweden earlier this year

Former Orlando Pirates versatile player Edwin Gyimah is set to sign for current PSL champions Bidvest Wits in the January transfer window according to his representative Mike Makaab.

“He is likely to sign with Wits. We are still in talks with them and there are finer details that we need to sort out,” Makaab told IOL.

The Ghanaian international left Bucs in February to join Swedish giants Helsingborgs IF, but has struggled to get going in the Scandanavia arena.

He is well-known for his versatility, being able to play at centre-back and as a holding midfielder in the middle of the park.
