Over a year after the horrific car crash, the defender met with the first person who rescued his life

Crystal Palace defender Pape Souare reunited with the club's medical personnel, Adam Mills who was coincidentally the first man on the scene of his car crash along the M4 motorway.

The Senegal international suffered a broken thighbone and jaw after a terrible accident in September 2016 but returned to action in Crystal Palace’s Carabao Cup win over Huddersfield in September this year.

Just before the commencement of the Eagles’ Premier League tie against Arsenal on Wednesday, the 27-year-old posed for a picture with his hero, Mills and handed him a replica of his playing shirt at Selhurst Park.
