Mathare United coach Francis Kimanzi is staring at a touchline ban after he skipped the mandatory post-match interview with the league broadcaster.

Kimanzi refused to show up for the interview after watching helplessly as his side went down 2-1 to a ten-man AFC Leopards on Sunday.

Whyvonne Isuza and Marvin Nabwire scored in either half to help Ingwe complete a double over the former champions, who are running out of gas at a critical moment as the season wears out with each passing game.

James Situma scored the consolation goal for Kimanzi, but not after he handed Ingwe the opening goal after conceding a penalty.

The lose left Mathare United slowly sliding down after dropping to seventh in the standings. AFC Leopards tactician Rodolfo Zapata basked in the limelight after washing his players with praise.

“I am so happy with my players. They played my type of football-to attack, but we had to change to plan B,” said the Argentine, who is joint third on the log with Bandari, both on 42 points.
