Mathare United head coach Francis Kimanzi is optimistic his side will soon start registering positive results in the Kenyan Premier League.

Mathare have won just one of their last 12 league outings, and are currently placed fifth on the log with 34 points after 22 outings.

The tactician has admitted there is a problem at the back but is at the same time confident that his charges will bounce back to winning ways.

"It is a fact that everyone wants a good result. Our main undoing has been at the back, we have been making mistakes that have been costly and we have worked on that. Our other problem has been on finishing; chances are there, we do create but fail to score.

"I am disappointed because we have dropped points we should not, but as I said we are ready to make amends."
