Malaysia to host first leg of 2019 World Football Summit

Football practitioners in the region will get the opportunity to learn from the foremost industry experts, when Malaysia hosts World Football Summit.

Malaysia will play host to the April 2019 edition of the football industry event World Football Summit, it was announced on Monday.

In a soft launching event held in Subang Jaya, Selangor, the organiser announced that the two-day event, which for the past three years have been held in Spain, will be held in Malaysia next year.

The event is set to feature talks on pertinent issues concerning modern football, which will be participated by the foremost football experts, including among others La Liga president Javier Tebas, Football Malaysia LLP chairman Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim and FIFA Chief Digital Transformation & Innovation Officer Luis Vicente.

But apart from the discussions, the event is also set to offer other opportunities such as networking sessions, a legends friendly match, children's football clinics, as well as celebrity appearances.

Football practitioners in the region can register for the event for USD 1,000 (Corporate Pass), USD 699 (Representative Pass) or USD 100 (Student Pass).
