KPL charge Kariobangi Sharks defender with misconduct

Kenyan Premier League Limited have on Friday leveled charges of misconduct against Kariobangi Sharks defender Pascal Ogweno with the Independent Disciplinary and Complaints Committee (IDCC).

KPL CEO Jack Oguda has written to the player with details of match officials which report that he snatched and tore the referee’s cautionary card (red card) during their match against Posta Rangers in April.

"It is further reported that after being red-carded, you refused to leave the field of play and only did so after being prevailed upon by your team-mates. You then went to sit in your club bus instead of the dressing room and had to be escorted to the dressing room to comply with the rule," the letter read.
