Kenya U-23 men’s national team are set to pitch a two-day training camp ahead of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Kenya is set to face Mauritius in the first round of the qualifiers slated for between November 12th and 20th and the side led by coach Francis Kimanzi have planned a camp between 3rd and 4th of November in Nairobi as part of their preparations for the championship.
Kenya will be looking to advance to the next stage, with the second and third rounds of qualifiers set to be played in March and June 2019 respectively.
Football Kenya Federation is set to name the squad in the coming days, though Ulinzi Stars duo of Harun Mwale and Timothy Odhiambo are expected to make the cut.
Ulinzi Stars confirmed that defender Mwale and goalkeeper Odhiambo have been asked to make plans for the training.
The 2019 Afcon finals will be staged in Egypt from December, 2019, with the top three finishers qualifying for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Kenya last took part in the age group competition in 2015.
