Hat-trick hero Mathew Mwendwa set to partner Ezekiel Mogendi and Richdonald Bolo upfront

Michael Amenga has retained the team that beat Djibouti as Kenya takes on Uganda in the third match of the Africa U17 Cup of Nations Cecafa Region Qualifying tournament.

Amenga went for the same squad that beat Djibouti 9-0 to take their goal tally to 13 in two matches. Hat-trick hero Mathew Mwendwa set to partner Ezekiel Mogendi and Richdonald Bolo upfront.

A win for Kenyan, who tops Group B with six points, similar to second-placed Ethiopia, will the junior Harambee Stars move closer to booking their maiden appearance in the Afcon set to be staged in Tanzania in May 2019.

Kenya XI: Bixente Lazarazu (GK), Arnold Onyango, Alphonce Omija, Tony Odhiambo, Telvin Maina, Nicholas Omondi, Keith Imbali, Saidi Musa, Mathew Mwendwa, Richdonald Bolo and Ezekiel Mogendi.

Subs: Brian Olang’o (GK), Francis Kayugi, Oscar Kamori and Felix Chabaya.
