Nikola Kavazovis has suggested that his side Township Rollers deserved to score more than five goals in their CAF Champions League first leg tie against their host Yanga in the National Stadium, Dar es Salaam.
Both Lemponye Tshireletso and Motsholetsi Sikele scored for the visitors and helped the Botswana’s Premier League leaders win by 2-1. Yanga’s goal was scored by Obrey Chirwa.
In his post-match conference, Kavazovic said that his team did fine by pressing the opponents high on the pitch, he added that, they did not give away too much space for the host to create chances something which helped his team to win.
“They had above 60 percent of the ball but it was useless, what we did is all about pressing them high on the pitch something which made them suffer in their half, they have a very good team but we deserve to win by more than four or five goals,” said Kavazovic.
The second leg between the two team will be held on March 17 were by the winner will be guaranteed a place in the group stage of the tournament.
