Yanga midfielder, Thaban Kamusoko has hailed the team's supporters who got behind them during their first leg 2-0 victory over Ethiopia’s Wolayta Dicha in their CAF Confederation Cup clash on Saturday.
Rafael Daud and Emmanuel Martin scored in each half to give the Jangwani Boys control of the tie before the return leg on April 18 in Hawassa, Ethiopia.
Speaking to Goal, Kamusoko said that the support they got from their fans was amazing and encouraged them to fight hard throughout the game.
“Our fans were amazing, they supported us throughout the game and we knew that only a win would make them happy,” said Kamusoko.
Kamusoko who is fit again after nearly five months on the sidelines due to injury was replaced by Pato Ngonyani after 75 minutes on the field.
