Kakamega Homeboyz coach Paul Nkata lauds Simba for Super Cup performance

Kakamega Homeboyz was eliminated from the inaugural Super Cup after falling to Simba SC from Tanzania.

After a barren ninety minutes, the match headed straight for the penalties where the visitors won 5-4.

Homeboyz head coach Paul Nkata lauded his opponents for a job well done.

"Simba outplayed us, they were tactically superior and as a result, they stopped us from scoring our game.

"Generally, we did our best, the players showed a fighting spirit, unfortunately, it was not good enough to take us to the finals, but we have learnt a lot.

"Our focus will be in the league now where we want to do well and finish in the top positions."

Nkata took over from Mike Mururi who has since joined Vihiga United.
