Ivorian striker arrives to start new life at Gor Mahia

Ivorian striker Ephrem Guikan has reported to Gor Mahia camp ahead of next season.

The former AS Port Louis striker arrived in the country on Tuesday and will start training with the rest of the squad. K’Ogalo CEO Omondi Aduda has revealed to Goal that the striker is happy to sign for the champions and is raring to go.

“Guikan is very happy that he will finally play for Gor Mahia. He arrived safely on (Tuesday) and will join the rest of the squad for training. We are also working on a date to unveil our new players before the season begins.”

Guikan has penned a two year contract with K’Ogalo. The Ivorian star scored six Champions League goals for AS Port Louis in the last campaign, including two against Tusker FC.

Gor Mahia have already signed Lawrence Juma from Nzoia Sugar, Humphrey Mieno (formerly of Tusker), Charles Momanyi from Kakamega Homeboyz, Wesley Onguso from Sofapaka and Bernard Ondiek from Western Stima.
