Defender Philemon Otieno was awarded the Man of the Match award that came with Sh50, 000 prize

Gor Mahia goalkeeper Shaban Odhoji scooped the Golden Glove in the just ended Super Cup tournament.

Odhoji finished ahead of experienced Simba custodian Aishi Manula having ended the tournament without conceding a single goal.

The Gor Mahia second choice keeper kept a clean sheet in the final where K’Ogalo beat Tanzanian champions 2-0.

Odhoji’s superb display kicked-off with a clean sheet against Jeshi La Kujenga Uchumi of Zanzibar, whom Gor Mahia beat 3-0 before humbling Singida United 2-0 in the semis.

Meddie Kagere’s four goals won him the Golden Boot. Defender Philemon Otieno was awarded the Man of the Match award that came with Sh50, 000 prize.

Gor Mahia will now play English Premier League side Everton at the Goodison Park.
