Gor Mahia are reportedly interested in signing Ghana star Solomon Mensah.

The Kenyan champions are understood to have made contact with the former Bechem United midfielder over a possible move to Nairobi.

Mensah became a free agent after he turned down contract extension with the Hunters, according to Ghanaian publication, Ghanasoccer.net.

Gor Mahia FC coach Dylan Kerr is keen on acquiring the services of the workaholic midfielder as he aims at defending the title.

Kerr has also targeted to reach the Group stage of the 2018 Caf Champions League and Mensah’s acquisition will definitely add more depth in K’Ogalo’s midfield ahead of 2018 continental assignment.

The box-to-box midfielder played a significant role in the 2015/2016 season to help Bechem United clinch their first ever silverware-the MTN FA Cup.

Gor Mahia are also in talks with Ivorian national Emphrem Guikan, who is expected in the country next week to negotiate for personal terms.
