Gor Mahia have now shifted their attention to the 2018 Caf Champions League

Gor Mahia defender Wellington Ochieng has attributed the club's 2017 success to the unquestionable loyalty of K’Ogalo followers.

Ochieng steered Gor Mahia to unprecedented 16th Kenyan Premier League title last campaign; good season indeed for the national champions that also saw them play against English Premier League side, Everton in Tanzania.

“The 2017 has been absolutely unbelievable,” Ochieng took to his Facebook account to reveal the good season.

“I just want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for contributing to our achievements. Your encouragement, constructive criticism, and loyalty have propelled us to these heights. May we do this again in the coming year.”

Gor Mahia have now shifted their attention to the 2018 Caf Champions League where they will host Equatorial Guinea side, Leones Vegetarianos in the opening leg between February 9 and 11 next year.
