Godwin Nosike is setting his sights on steering Enugu Rangers to the summit of the Nigeria Professional Football League this season.

The Flying Antelopes are eyeing a spot in next year's Caf competition at the end of their ongoing topflight campaign and has appointed Nozike as an assistant coach.

Until his appointment, the former Enugu Rangers midfielder previously had coaching stint with Warri Wolves under Paul Aigbogun during their Caf Champions League outing in 2016.

Following his introduction to the team at Wednesday's training session, the gaffer expressed joy and is eager to justify his engagement as an assistant to coach Gbenga Ogunbote.
