The Eleven-Is-To-One's technical director says the youngster is attracting top offers in light of his fine form in the domestic league

Inter Allies technical director Willie Klutse says clubs are hot on the heels of Nigerien sensation Victorien Adebayor following his blistering start to the Ghana Premier League.

The attacker is among the revelations of the season, having netted seven times - including a matchday one double - after 12 rounds of games.

His good form puts him up as the current joint-top scorer of the topflight.

“Some of the local clubs are chasing him [Adebayor]," Klutse told Zylofon FM.

“Some clubs are only interested in already-made players, and they only wait for you [smaller clubs] to groom the player for them to entice you with money.

“I can’t mention any team at the moment, but they are worrying us.

“They are behaving as if we don’t have eyes for good players and that doesn’t show respect to the smaller teams."

Allies signed Adebayor from Nigerien club AS Gendarmerie Nationale Nigerienne in a two-year deal last December.

That was after his impressive showing at the 2017 Wafu Cup of Nations held in Ghana.

Rumours say local giants Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak are interested in his signature.
