Ghanaian duo on trial at Italian side Bologna

The Ghanaian players are currently undergoing a two-week trial with the Red and Blues in a bid to push for a deal

Top Talent FC midfielder Eric Appiah and Mighty Jets' winger Emmanuel Kumah have joined Italian Serie A side Bologna in a two-week trial, Goal can confirm.

Both players, aged 17, arrived in Italy last week after catching the eye of Bologna's scouting team during the 2016-17 season of Ghana's lower division league.

Appiah was a key player for Mighty Jets and although, they couldn't gain promotion to the top-flight, his performance did not go unnoticed while Kumah excelled in a third-tier tournament his side participated in.

Goal understands that the duo are having training sessions with Bologna's Under-18 outfit and will play part in their games as guest players. 

In the event of a successful trial they would become the second and third Ghanaians at the club after Godfred Donsah.
