Mathare United coach Francis Kimanzi has lauded Wazito FC for their good match against his side on Saturday.

The ‘slum boys’ had to come from behind twice to salvage a point against the Frank Ouna side in a six goal thriller. The tactician says he had anticipated a tough match, and it proved to be so.

"Many thought that just because they, Wazito, are in the relegation zone it would be easy for us. It has turned out to be a tough one for my team but I am pleased with the attitude by my players, they fought to the last minute and managed to get something from the match.

"Miscalculations at the back cost us; but kudos to Wazito, they played well and deserved something from the match,” Kimanzi told Goal.

Mathare United's winless run in the league extends to thirteen games, with eleven of those ending in a draw.
