The country's football stars paid tribute to their moms on the special celebration of maternal bonds

Vincent Enyeama, John Obi Mikel, Peter Odemwingie and a host of other Nigeria players celebrated Mother's day.

The country’s football stars took time out to celebrate motherhood and the impact of mothers in their lives.

Mother’s Day celebrations across the world varies with dates but the United Kingdom and Nigeria celebrated theirs as Mothering Sunday on March 11.
