EXTRA TIME: Arsenal legends Lauren and Alex Scott attend Gorilla naming ceremony in Rwanda

Former Arsenal defender Lauren and former Arsenal Ladies captain Alex Scott joined African leaders including former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and former First Lady of South Africa, Graca Machel in this year's gorilla naming ceremony in Rwanda.

The former football stars were present at the Volcanoes National Park in Kiningi where 23 baby gorillas were named during the Kwita Izina ceremony on Friday. Kwita Izina is a Rwandan ceremony of giving a name to a new-born baby gorilla.

Lauren named a baby gorilla 'Ikipe' from Kwitonda family of the mountain gorillas which means team while Scott named a baby gorilla 'Izahabu' which means gold or a precious thing.
