Former Sports Cabinet Secretary Najib Balala says that Kenya will one day qualify for the Fifa World Cup.

“Football inspires us and I believe that one day, Kenya will be there. It is every Kenyan dream to one day watch their team take part in the World Cup and such are the moments that inspire us to promote football.

“I know that one day Kenya will own this trophy, if not host the World Cup. I know it’s a tall order, but Kenya is a land of possibilities. One day we’ll get there.”
