Eric Bailly is delighted to help Manchester United to a 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in Saturday’s English Premier League encounter.

The defender had been sidelined since October 6 after suffering a groin strain while on international duty with Cote d'Ivoire but he returned in time for this encounter.

Anthony Martial was the hero as he netted the decisive goal for Jose Mourinho’s side after an assist from Romelu Lukaku with nine minutes left to play.

The former Villarreal player who was on parade from start to finish took to social media to reveal his delight to be playing again and also appreciate United for their support.

“Happiness means playing again and earning a big victory like today. Thanks, Old Trafford, for the incredible support,” Bailly tweeted.

The defence ace will be expected to be on parade when Manchester United host Benfica at Old Trafford on Tuesday for their Uefa Champions League tie.
