The boss of Botweako Mba believes his charges did enough to salvage a point against the Northern Blues

Elmina Sharks coach Yaw Acheampong has admitted his happiness following his side's 1-1 draw against Wa All Stars in matchday five of the Ghana Premier League at the Len Clay Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Saturday.

David Abagna gave the former champions the lead but Samuel Arthur equalised for Sharks following a mistake following a defensive blunder from All Stars.

"I think both teams demonstrated that the Ghana league is moving in the right direction. What I saw today was very encouraging," Acheampong said.

"The boys were in good shape and we believe we could have even taken the three points but because of the referee it didn't happen. He should have awarded us a penalty at a point but I'm happy with the result and hope to win the next game to continue our awesome run in the league.

"No matter what the problem is, we are doing things right to improve and hopefully we will be at the top in the near future. We want to at least avoid defeat," he added.

Sharks will host Inter Allies next weekend at the Nduom Sports Stadium before they travel to Cape Coast Sports Stadium to face giants Hearts of Oak.
