The forward found the back of the net to help The Wild Tigers salvage a draw on home soil on Sunday

Ghanaian striker Godsway Donyoh emerged hero for Nordsjaelland as his goal saved the side from defeat against AaB in the Danish Super Liga on Sunday.

The striker's late effort proved crucial as it helped earn a 1-1 home draw at Right to Dream Park.

It was his seventh goal in 11 appearances involving nine starts this season.

It was the visitors who took the lead albeit in uncharacteristic fashion courtesy of Andreas Skovgaard's own goal in the 24th minute.

Nordsjaelland kept pushing for the equalizer but AaB did well to hold on to the lead into the break.

And as all looked headed for a defeat, Donyoh emerged with the equalizer six minutes to full-time, curling a free-kick into the net.

Spoils shared, the result leaves Nordsjaelland 11th on the league table while AaB sit fifth.

Donyoh, who joined The Wild Tigers from Manchester City in 2015, will hope to increase his tally when his club play Randers on Sunday.

Compatriot and club mate Mohammed Kudus was a 73rd minute substitute.

Kudus's Ghana under-20 teammate Ibrahim Sadiq, however, was an unused substitute for the home side.
