Daniel Adejo nets winner to power Lamia past Levadiakos

The former Nigeria youth international scored his third goal of the season as ‎Makis Chavos’ men squeezed past the Blue-Greens

Daniel Adejo got the winning goal in PAS Lamia’s 3-2 victory over Levadiakos in Saturday’s Greek Super League encounter.

The 29-year-old defender joined the Cyan-Whites as a free agent in the summer after a spell with Kerkyra during the 2017-18 season.

Since teaming up with the Greek side, he has been decent in his defensive duty helping Makis Chavos’ men to three clean sheets in nine appearances capping it with three goals.

Against the Blue-Greens, the former Reggina player scored the all-important goal in the 83rd minute to help his side claim their second league win of the season.

Earlier, Facundo Bertoglio and Jeronimo Barrales had given the home team a two-goal lead before Giuseppe Sannino’s men rallied from behind with efforts from Lenny Nangis and Petros Giakoumakis.

The Levadia Municipal Stadium outfit were reduced to ten men after Zisis Karachalios got his second booking.

With the victory, Lamia are ninth in the log with nine points from eight games. They play PAS Giannina in their next league game on November 4.
