Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo made a sensational shock switch from Real Madrid to Juventus this summer in a €100m deal, and leaves behind a historic legacy at the Spanish club.
Ronaldo became one of the greatest footballers of all-time at the Bernabeu and is set to continue to break records in Serie A. With five Ballons d'Or under his belt as well as five Champions Leagues and a European Championship, he has his eye on lifting another league trophy in Italy to add to his ever-expanding collection of silverware.

Ronaldo netted 26 goals in La Liga last season after a slow start in form, finishing second to none other than Lionel Messi (34) as the league's top scorer.
Though he underperformed (by his standards) in the Spanish league, he shined in the Champions League where he topped the competition as top scorer with 15 goals to his name – five more than the next highest players in Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah (the Liverpool trio scored 10 goals apiece).
In all competitions for Real Madrid, he netted 44 times – and the only player to have scored more was Lionel Messi. Liverpool star Salah equalled Ronaldo's haul (also 44 goals).

With his goals in Russia this summer, Ronaldo became only the fourth player in history to score in four different World Cup tournaments (2005, 2010, 2014, 2018) following in the footsteps of Pele, Uwe Seeler and Mirsolav Klose.
After scoring his hat-trick against Spain in the opening game of the group stage, he became the first European player to score in eight consecutive major tournaments for his club (the World Cup and European Championships).
He also became the oldest hat-trick scorer in World Cup history be netting against La Furia Roja, with the Portuguese striker aged 33 years and 130 days. The previous record was held by Rob Rensenbrink in 1978 for the Netherlands against Iran (aged 30 years and 335 days).
The hat-trick was also the 51st that Ronaldo scored in his career, and was also incidentally the 51st scored in World Cup history.

The Portuguese international became Real Madrid's all-time top scorer in October 2015 when he scored his 324th goal for the Spanish side in their 3-0 victory over Levante in La Liga. He has since gone on to score 126 more times for the club.
He has scored 658 goals in his professional career for both club and country and is the leading goalscorer for both Real Madrid (450 goals) and Portugal (85). No European male footballer has scored more international goals than Ronaldo (85), who is one clear of Hungary legend Ferenc Puskas (84).

Since making his debut in the Champions League in October 2003, he has scored the most goals in the competition (120) and also has the most assists (36).
So far, he has been involved in 156 goals in 153 Champions League appearances and has scored seven hat-tricks in the competition.

Major trophies won by Ronaldo for club and country
The 33-year-old is one of the most decorated stars to have ever graced the football pitch, both individually and at club level as well as for his country.
He is a five-time winner of the Ballon d'Or award, level with rival Messi, and has won the FIFA World Player of the Year award once in 2008.
Ronaldo won the Premier League three times with Manchester United, as well as lifting the FA Cup and the Champions League during his time with the Red Devils. He also won the League Cup twice, the Community Shield and the FIFA World Cup.
Following his then-world record transfer to Real Madrid in 2009, Ronaldo has won La Liga twice with Los Blancos as well as lifting the Copa del Rey twice and the Spanish Supercopa twice. He won his third successive Champions League earlier this year in May which made it the fourth time he has won the title with Real Madrid and fifth time overall.
