Copa Coca-Cola bring Emmanuel Babayaro and Tajudeen Disu to Bauchi

Nigeria ex-international duo of Emmanuel Babayaro and Tajudeen Disu were guest celebrities as the Copa Coca-Cola regionals got underway in Bauchi.
 
Also, present as well was a grassroots coach Dele Ofuyah and Stephen Musa as the quartet took the students through the basics of football at the Sa'adu Zungur Primary School.
 
Thursday's coaching clinic had in attendance students from four of the five participating states.
 
During the clinic, the guests took the turn to share their experience, knowledge, and challenges as Olympic 1996 gold medalist Babayaro started off on discipline and football culture, urging them to stay determined to learn and improve on their game with passing days.
 
Musa, a midfielder who played for 18 years in Germany, urged the players to remain focused and take their education seriously, insisting that only education can give them a better life after football.
 
While, Disu, a former Flying Eagles star called on the coaches and sports masters to task in providing a conducive environment and friendly atmosphere to help the players assimilate and perfect their skills of the game.
 
On completing the lecturing session, coach Ofuyah alongside the guest trio led the students to the pitch, where they collectively taught them about the rudiments of game and showing them some basic knowledge needed for them to succeed in the sport.
 
At the end, coach Ofuyah pleaded with the students' coaches to adopt and sustain those training programmes carried out during the clinich upon return to their respective states.
 
Mohammed Usman, who represents Government Secondary School, Gombe expressed gratitude to the organizer, Copa-Cola for providing them the platform to excel in football and he assured they will put to use the ideas acquired from the clinic. Copy and paste this code at the end of your article text:
