Cliffe Kasuti is set to join Sofapaka as part of the swap deal between the former and Ulinzi Stars.

The midfielder left the military side on mutual consent after three-years of dedicated service and upward growth.

The Kenya U-23 international joined Ulinzi Stars from high school under the leadership of Robert Matano and grew to be an integral part of coach Danstan Nyaudo's squad.

Kasuti will be joining Sofapaka as part of the swap deal that will see Ezekiel Okare, become the second signing for the soldiers, after Clinton Omondi, who joined from Sony Sugar, this season.

“We will always cherish those moments we had with Kasuti. He was a loyal servant to the club and his quality was all clear for everyone to see. We wanted a center forward to beef up the team and we had to make a replacement.

“He is a great talent and leaves with our blessings; I just want to wish him the best in his next adventure as well as future endeavors,” Nyaudo said of the player whom he worked with for one season.

Kasuti scored two goals for the Soldiers last season.
