Benjamin Nyangweso: Ulinzi Stars have just been unlucky

Ulinzi Stars have lost three matches in a row in the Kenyan Premier League, something that has raised fans eyebrows.

The soldiers fell 2-1 at home against Nzoia Sugar, before falling by a solitary goal away against the same opponent before rounding it all up by the same margin at home against Nakumatt. Head coach Benjamin Nyangweso says there is no cause for alarm.

"Well, I cannot blame anybody following the poor run of three consecutive losses. We have doing everything right, absolutely right apart from hitting the back of the net.

"The team has created chances, whereby players have been left one on one with the goalkeeper and at times with an empty net but failed to score. We have just been unlucky.

"No, our morale has not gone down, we believe we will win our next match because we have worked on our finishing," Nyangweso told Goal.

The three times league champions will be away to Sony Sugar in match day 21 hoping to bounce back to winning ways.
