An aggregate win for Sharks will pave way for a second round tie against either Yaoundé of Cameroon or Asante Kotoko of Ghana

Arta Solar are keen to keep a clean sheet against Kariobangi Sharks on Tuesday.

The Djiboutian side, who like Sharks will be making their debut in the Caf competition, have landed in Kenya full of confident that they will pull a good result to take back home for the return leg.  The first of this two-leg clash will be played at the Kasarani on Tuesday with the return leg in Djibouti City a week later.

“We don’t know anything about Sharks but all I want to promise is that we want to keep a clean sheet so that we can make the return leg a formality. We must not concede as this will give them a huge advantage going into the return leg,” said the team’s coach on arrival.

On Saturday, Sharks coach William Muluya told that they are ready for the showdown. “My players know it is the first time they are playing in the big stage and are looking forward to have a good outing. I have asked them not to panic but play as they always do. I am confident that we will go beyond the preliminary stage.”

On why he has preferred to stick with a young squad, Muluya said, “They have shown me now and then that they are ready to shine. If you lose experienced players, they create space for the young ones. I have a huge trust in my squad and I know they will perform even better in the league this season.”

Nick Mwendwa’s company will be in charge of match day ticketing where fans will part with Sh100 to access the stands. The tickets will be sold at Kasarani's Gate 2 and Gate 19.
