The Flying Eagles surrendered a two-goal lead to record a draw in the African Youth Championship qualifier played on Saturday

Nigeria U20 were forced to a 2-2 draw by Guinea Bissau in Saturday’s 2019 Africa U20 Cup of Nations qualifier.

Wasiu Alalade’s first half brace had given the Flying Eagles a two-goal lead by the hosts clawed back in the second half to ensure the game ended on a no winner, no vanquished state.

The Junior Dhurtus defeated Sierra Leone 1-0 on aggregate to book a date with the Flying Eagles who were drawn bye for the First Round.

According to the report filed by the NFF, Paul Aigbogun blamed his boys for losing concentration in the second period, but expressed sureness that his team will get the job done in the return leg.

The second leg holds at the UJ Esuene Stadium on May 19 with the winner on aggregate qualifying for the Third  Round where they face either Guinea or Mauritania.
