AFC Leopards winger joins Middle East club

AFC Leopards winger Kevin Kimani has signed for Saudi Arabian club Al Hazm SC.

The player was signed by Ingwe in January but has since left the club, without featuring in a competitive match, to join the Saudi Arabian Division 1 (Second tier) side on a reported six-month deal.

AFC Leopards have confirmed the move on their official facebook page wishing the midfielder well in his new job.

"The club wishes to announce that we have reached an agreement with Al Hazem club of Saudi Arabia for the transfer of Kevin Kimani after a week of negotiations. We wish the player well at his new club."

Kimani has previously played for Tusker, Mathare United and KCB in Kenya plus a stint with South Africa’s Jomo Cosmos. At AFC Leopards, he will be remembered by a handful of fans, who watched him while playing against Kariobangi Sharks in a friendly encounter staged at Kasarani Stadium on Sunday.
