AFC Leopards have officially released three players ahead of the 2018/19 Kenyan Premier League season.
The 11-time Kenyan champions are restructuring for the new season, set to kick-off on December 8 and have decided to offload the surplus, including Victor Majid and Ray Omondi as confirmed by the club's Secretary General Oscar Igaida.
"We have released Victor Majid and Ray Omondi and Marcus Abwa. The trio is not part of our plans for the coming season.
"Nigerian Alex Orotamal, who joined mid last season from Rwandan Premier League is also out. He has been signed by Ethiopian side St. Georges while former captain Duncan Otieno recently joined Nkana FC of Zambia.
"Edwin Mukolwe and Michael Kibwage who has since joined KCB, are also out."
Igaida has also pointed out that new coach Nicola Kavazovic will be unveiled in the course of the week, "there are a few things that we are doing before presenting him to the public. We will communicate to the public once that is done."
Goal understands that Kavazovic, who moved to the Den from Botswana’s Township Rollers met with Ingwe players on Monday in Limuru.
