'A successor to Henry has arrived' - Twitter reacts to Aubameyang joining Arsenal

The forward's future has finally been confirmed after joining the Gunners for a club record fee... so over to Twitter we go!

Arsenal have confirmed the arrival of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia from Manchester City…to the excitement and disgust of some people.

The 28-year-old has been subject of negotiations between the Gunners and Dortmund for several weeks, with the north London club refusing to meet the Bundesliga side's €70m asking price.

Last season, Auba scored a total of 31 league games and will now hope to make his impact felt at the Emirates Stadium.

Goal takes a look at the best, and worst, of the Twitter reaction.
