UEFA Champions League
UEFA Europa League

Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.
Manchester City come from behind to snatch another late victory to maintain an eight-point lead at the top of the Premier League. A late strike from David Silva decided the contest after Nicolas Otamendi cancelled out Angelo Ogbonna's opener for the Hammers. Pep Guardiola's men make history in the Premier League with their 13th win on the bounce, matching the record of Chelsea (2016-17) and Arsenal (2001-02). They can break the all-time record with a win over rivals Manchester United next week at Old Trafford.

S. Agüero
85' Aguero makes way for Fernandinho.
K. De Bruyne
83' De Bruyne pulls off a brilliant assist with a lofted pass over the top for Silva's run and the Spaniard applies the finish.
David Silva
83' GOALLLLLLLL!!!! DAVID SILVA STRIKES! City take the lead as the pressure tells on the West Ham defence. De Bruyne unlocks the backline with a brilliant pass over the top of the visitors' defence and Silva makes a great run to the back post. The Spaniard just gets a toe on the ball and it's enough to take it past Adrian into the bottom corner. Another late goal for Guardiola's men.
81' SAVE! The Hammers break down the left through Antonio and he cuts back on his right foot to power an effort at goal. His strike is on target and forces Ederson into a fine save before Otamendi clears the rebound.

The players are back out for the second half. A change is coming for City.
West Ham are 45 minutes away from inflicting the first defeat of the season on Manchester City thanks to Angelo Ogbonna's headed effort. Pep Guardiola's men have been far from their best in the first half of the contest and were duly punished when the Italian defender powered a header past Ederson in the 44th minute. City's passing has been sloppy, while the defending from the Hammers has been solid through the middle, restricting the involvement of Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne.
45' + 4' The referee ends the first half.
45' + 4' Danilo and Mangala struggle with passes to end the half, epitomising City's struggles in the opening 45 minutes of the contest.

C. Kouyaté

25' Otamendi gives the ball away for the home side, allowing Antonio to push forward in the final third. However, the Argentine atones for his error by making a strong tackle to disposess the Hammers forward.
23' Sane has time on the left, but he overhits a simple pass to David Silva out for a goal-kick. City have been guilty of some uncharacteristic sloppy passing in the final third.
21' City are yet to find their rhythm in the final third. They're lacking an injection of pace as the current speed of play has been easy for the Hammers to cope with at the back.
19' Zabaleta makes an important interception at the back, stopping the offload from Sane as he searched to find Danilo in space.
D. Rice
Yellow Card
17' Rice stops Sane's burst forward and goes into the book.

9' Rice has to cover the near post to stop David Silva's cross from causing problems for the Hammers. Aguero was lurking in the box before the defender acted.
8' CLOSE! Kouyate rises highest at the near post to head Masuaku's corner at goal. It drifts to the back post and Antonio almost reaches the ball on the stretch, but he can only lift his effort over the bar.
7' Antonio drives at the City defence down the right flank and is able to win a corner down the right.
6' Danilo and Sane attempt to combine down the left flank, but the Brazilian just overhits his pass for the run of the winger.
5' Mangala rises highest in the box from the corner, but he can only a guide a scuffed effort wide of the post.
4' De Bruyne slides the ball to Danilo down the left flank, but the left-back is prevented from crossing into the box by a strong challenge from Zabaleta, although the ball goes out for a corner.
2' PENALTY SHOUT! Sterling goes down under pressure in the box and looks at referee Dean for a spot-kick, but the official waves play on.
1' Aguero lifts the ball to the back post for Sterling's run, but Masuaku gets ahead of the winger to head behind.

The team news has been announced and we'll start with the home side.
West Ham are under severe pressure in the bottom three in the Premier League. The Hammers are without a win in their last seven matches following their drubbing at the hands of Everton during the week. It was not a happy return to Goodison Park for David Moyes as his side lost 4-0 in frustrating circumstances, with Manuel Lanzini missing a penalty in the second half that could have turned the match in their favour. With a horrendous run of fixtures ahead, Moyes' side could use a surprise result this afternoon.
City's march at the top of the Premier League continued during the week. Southampton looked to be on their way to securing a point, only for Raheem Sterling to score a last-minute winner to extend City's winning run to 19 matches in all competitions. Pep Guardiola's men hold a five-point lead at the top of the table, but can extend their lead to eight points ahead of the Manchester derby next week with a victory today.
Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between Manchester City and West Ham at the Etihad Stadium.
