Commentary

That's all for today, goodbye!
Bayern already have one foot in the quarter-finals with that result, with the second leg due to take place on March 17th. They're back to winning ways and turn their attention to the league when they face Cologne on Saturday. It looks like a big ask for Lazio to come back in that second leg, especially with Bayern's four away goals. Next up for them is Bologna in Serie A at the weekend.
Bayern take a 4-1 advantage over Lazio into the second leg. They led 3-0 at half-time, with Lewandowski latching onto Musacchio's loose backpass to tap in the first. Musiala then found the bottom corner, with Sane adding a third from close range. It was a poor start to the second half for the hosts, with Acerbi scoring an own goal in the 47th minute before Correa pulled one back minutes later when he slotted past Neuer.
90' + 4' FULL-TIME: LAZIO 1-4 BAYERN MUNICH.
90' + 2' Bayern are just happy to keep the ball in their own half now as the game goes into its final minutes. They're in no hurry to move upfield and Lazio just can't get close to them at the moment.

E. Choupo-Moting
J. Musiala
90' Bayern have been waiting to make a double change for the last five minutes and there's finally a stop in play that allows them to do it. Musiala is the first to go off, with Choupo-Moting on for him.
89' Lazio have a chance to break quickly as Lazzari touches it infield to Hoedt but it's a poor first touch from him that sends the ball looping up into the air and back to Bayern to stop the counter.
87' Now it's Bayern who can't get out of their own half as Immobile intercepts Kimmich's pass into Hernandez and he turns to run at goal. He has Correa ahead of him, but his throughball is short and Alaba comes away with it.
85' Lazio just can't keep hold of the ball at the moment as Lazzari steps across to nick it off Davies. Before he has a chance to turn though, Hernandez has dispossessed him and Bayern are on the attack again.
83' Another short clearance by Reina is intercepted as Davies steps across Acerbi to reach it. He floats a cross into the middle of the box towards Lewandowski, but Escalante gets back to intercept it.

80' GOOD SAVE! It's another mistake at the back by Lazio as Hoedt's clearance loops up in the box and falls for Lewandowski. He holds off Escalante as he turns and manages to get a shot away despite being off-balance, but Reina punches it away.
79' Correa has scored more Champions League goals for Lazio this season (three) than he managed in his two previous campaigns in the competition for Sevilla (two).
77' Milinkovic-Savic holds the ball up well when he's picked out on the edge of the box by Correa and he manages to create a pocket of space for himself. He tries to curl a shot on goal, but it's deflected wide off Boateng.

J. Kimmich
Yellow Card
72' Davies slid in late on Lazzari at the byline to stop the cross and gives away a free-kick. Kimmich isn't happy with that decision though and he's booked for dissent.
71' Lazio just can't get out of their own box after Kimmich swings the corner into the box and the visitors have a second chance to put the ball in. Kimmich picks out Sule with his second attempt, but his shot is blocked by Escalante.
G. Escalante
Yellow Card
69' Escalante tracks back to try and win possession back but he slides in late on Lewandowski from behind and has his name taken by the referee.
68' It's patient play by the hosts as they play out from the back, but they're struggling to find a way in behind Bayern. Acerbi is urging his team-mates to push forward and eventually loses out to Coman.

Goal
49' CORREA SCORES! And just like that, Lazio pull one back! Lazio work it upfield well from deep in their own half, and Correa gets lucky as it bounces into him. He drifts away from Boateng's challenge to get into the middle of the box before slotting his shot past Neuer and into the bottom corner. 4-1!
F. Acerbi
Own Goal
47' IT'S FOUR! Coman quickly cleared his lines following a Lazio corner and picked out Sane on the halfway line. He chooses to square it across the six-yard box and Reina came off his line to close him down. Acerbi got back to cover, but he couldn't sort his feet out quick enough and turned it into the back of his own net. 4-0 Bayern!
46' Lazio get us back underway for the second half!
Flick will be very pleased with how his side have bounced back after their performance at the weekend and will be looking for more of the same after the break. As for Lazio, they have a lot of work to do to get back into this game with Bayern already netting three away goals, and they need to get on the scoresheet to give themselves a chance.
Bayern are cruising with a 3-0 half-time lead over Lazio. Lewandowski opened the scoring when he latched onto Musacchio's loose backpass and took it around Reina to put it into the empty net. Musiala then doubled the lead when he nestled a shot into the bottom corner from the edge of the box. Three minutes before half-time, Coman's shot was parried away by the keeper after a quick break and Sane was left with a simple tap-in.
45' + 2' HALF-TIME: LAZIO 0-3 BAYERN MUNICH.
45' + 1' It's brilliant play from Sane as he weaves between the Lazio defenders to open up space on the right before whipping a cross into the box. He picks out Kimmich on the penalty spot, but his shot is straight at Reina.
44' Lazio aren't closing Bayern down as quickly anymore and the visitors are more than happy to just knock it around in their own half. Boateng eventually plays it long to Coman, but his first touch is poor and Reina comes to collect it.
L. Sané
Goal
42' SANE SCORES! Coman put Patric under pressure and nicked the ball on the halfway line when he slipped. He drove forward into the box, wrongfooting Acerbi to get his shot away and it's pushed away by Reina. He puts it into Sane's path though and he's left with an easy tap-in. 3-0 Bayern!
41' Coman pulls away from Patric on the left and he swings a deep cross into the far post. He has Lewandowski and Musiala to aim for, but in the end, it's over both of their heads and bounces out of play.
39' Lazzari curls a dangerous cross into the six-yard box, but Correa can't get across to the near post quick enough to tap it in. Marusic follows in and pulls it back for Immobile, but Alaba is in the right place to block it.
37' Milinkovic-Savic spots Immobile's run down the left again and plays a long ball over the top to him. He cuts inside, and Neuer rushes off his line to nick it off him just as the offside flag goes up against him.
35' SAVE! It's a poor clearance by Reina straight to Kimmich and he slides it into Musiala. Acerbi is quickly over to him, but his intervention gives it straight to Lewandowski in the middle. He takes the shot first time, but it's kicked away by Reina.
33' Lewandowski has scored 72 Champions League goals, overtaking Raul to go outright third behind Cristiano Ronaldo (134) and Lionel Messi (119).
S. Lulić
M. Musacchio

30' Sule makes another driving run forward down the right before cutting inside and he drifts past three Lazio players before trying to pick out Lewandowski, but Acerbi cits out his cross.
Luis Alberto

L. Goretzka
Assist
24' Goretzka is being quickly closed down, so he lays it off to Musiala first time when he spots him in space.
J. Musiala
Goal
24' MUSIALA SCORES! None of the Lazio defenders spot Musiala in a pocket of space on the edge of the box which means he has time to set himself when Goretzka picks him out. He keeps his shot low, hitting it into the near bottom corner, and there's nothing Reina can do to keep it out. 2-0 Bayern!
23' CHANCE! It's a good throughball into the box from Correa to pick out Alberto's run after he peels away from Boateng. He's one-on-one with Neuer and drills an effort towards the near post, but it's saved by the keeper.
22' Lewandowski is dropping deep to try and get on the ball and this time, he's picked out by Goretzka. Three Lazio players are quickly over to him though and he's eventually crowded off the ball.
20' Bayern are more than happy to just keep possession in their own half at the moment as they try to draw Lazio out from their deep positions. Boateng shifts play out to Davies on the left, but he can't find a way past Marusic.
18' The Lazio players are asking for a penalty after Milinkovic-Savic appeared to be tripped by Boateng on the edge of the box as he touched it onto Immobile. VAR is having a look at it but spotted the midfielder was offside in the build-up, so it's only a free-kick to Bayern.
17' Bayern break quickly when they win the ball back, with Lewandowski leading the attack down the left. He pulls it back from the byline for Sane at the near post, who goes for the backheel, but he can't flick his effort on target.
15' Lazio are keeping the ball better when they move out of their half now and are starting to move it upfield quicker. It's switched out to Lazzari on the left this time, but he can't find a way past Sule.
13' Leiva gets his head up and spots Immobile pulling away from his defender on the left so switches play out to him. He brings it down well with his first touch, only for the offside flag to go up against him.
11' Bayern are still dominating possession and although Lazio are closing them down high upfield, the hosts just can't get a touch on the ball. It's patient build-up from Bayern though as they play it out from the back to open up space.
R. Lewandowski
