Commentary

That's all for today, goodbye!
United stay level on points with Leicester City who sit above them in fourth place and keep the pressure on for a Champions League place. They've extended their unbeaten run to 19 games in all competitions and their attention switches to their FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea on Sunday. Palace's losing run continues and they're now without a win in six. Next up for them is a trip to face Wolves on Monday.
Manchester United score a goal in each half to earn a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace. Rashford opened the scoring in stoppage time at the end of the first half when he got away from three Palace defenders before coolly finding the bottom-right corner. Palace thought they'd equalised when Ayew tapped in from close range only for VAR to rule it out for a tight offside. Martial then sealed the win in the 78th minute when he poked the ball past Guaita.
90' + 11' FULL-TIME: CRYSTAL PALACE 0-2 MANCHESTER UNITED.
90' + 9' Martial tumbles to ground in the box under a challenge from Dann and he's asking for a penalty. The defender timed it perfectly though as he nicked the ball off him and the referee isn't giving it.
90' + 7' Rashford wins a free-kick on the left and Fernandes is standing over it. It's a tight angle, but he goes for goal from the set-piece and his shot ends up hitting the side netting.
90' + 5' Palace are struggling to get out of their own half at the moment as United press forward again. This time, there's no way through for Martial though and Mitchell comes away with the ball.
90' + 3' GREAT SAVE! Martial squares the ball through to Rashford who is in space on the left of the box. He curls his effort towards goal first time and Guaita gets across his line to tip it over the bar.
L. Milivojević
Yellow Card
90' + 3' Milivojevic picks up a yellow card for a late foul on Pogba.
90' + 2' United are on the attack again and Lingard squares the ball into the box from the left. Ward's clearance goes as far as Rashford and he touches it onto Fernandes, but his first-time shot is blocked by Sakho.
90' GREAT SAVE! Zaha flicks the ball past Maguire and has a lot of space to run into in United's half. He has no one up in support with him so goes for goal himself. He drills the shot low from the right of the box and De Gea gets down quickly to push it wide of the near post.
88' Martial's 12 goals in all competitions during 2020 is the most of any Premier League player this calendar year.
86' Wan-Bissaka and Lingard link up well down the right and the substitute squares his cross into the middle of the box looking for Rashford. Mitchell is there instead though and he clears the danger for Palace.
T. Mitchell
P. van Aanholt
84' Van Aanholt is taken off the field on the stretcher as Mitchell comes on in his place.
J. Riedewald
J. McCarthy
83' While Van Aanholt receives his treatment, Hodgson makes another change and it's Riedewald coming on for McCarthy.
82' Van Aanholt is being moved onto the stretcher now and they're getting him ready to leave the field while Hodgson gets his substitute ready.
80' As Martial slid to get his shot away, Van Aanholt toppled over the forward and landed awkwardly on his shoulder. He's stayed down and is being given oxygen by the medical team as they give him treatment.
A. Martial
Goal
78' UNITED DOUBLE THEIR LEAD! Martial isn't picked up by Dann as he drifts in from the left to get onto Rashford's pass. He takes a touch before poking the ball past Guaita and into the far-bottom corner. 2-0 United!
M. Rashford
Assist
78' It was a good counter-attack from United and Fernandes slid the ball through Van Aanholt's legs to Rashford who touches it into Martial first time.
76' Wan-Bissaka cuts inside from the right and tries to pick out Fernandes' over-lapping run. Van-Aanholt reads it really well though and makes an important block before setting Palace off on the counter.
74' OFF THE POST! United break quickly on the counter-attack down the left and Fosu-Mensah picks out Rashford in space in the box. He squeezes his cross through to Fernandes who takes the shot first time. Guaita is beaten, but the ball bounces back off the far post.
J. Schlupp
J. McArthur
72' First change of the game for Palace now as Schlupp comes on for McArthur.
71' Fernandes whips a low cross into the box from the right but it's well blocked by Dann. The ball comes back to the midfielder though and this time, he goes for goal himself, but he drags his effort wide of the far post.
69' The players make their way to the side of the pitch for the second cooling break of the game.
67' Ayew has his back to goal when he is played in but can't turn as he has Maguire tight to him. He lays it off to Ward on the right, but a heavy first touch from him takes it straight out of play.
H. Maguire
Yellow Card
65' Maguire picks up a yellow card after pushing Ayew to the ground in an attempt to stop Palace's counter-attack.
N. Matić
S. McTominay
63' McTominay also makes way for Matic.
J. Lingard
M. Greenwood
62' Double change for United now and Greenwood is the first player to make way as Lingard replaces him.
62' Fosu-Mensah nicks the ball off McCarthy in midfield and touches it onto Rashford who plays a one-two with Martial to get into more space. He's unmarked on the left of the box, but his low shot is straight at Guaita.
60' DE GEA SAVES! The ball bounces up in front of McCarthy when Zaha squares it back to him and the midfielder hits the shot on the half volley. It's a powerful hit by him, but it's straight at the keeper who gets down quickly and holds onto it.
59' Rashford has scored 17 Premier League goals this season, as many as his previous two campaigns combined.
57' IT'S DISALLOWED! It takes a while to get to the decision and it's incredibly tight as it looks like his toe was just offside. Much to Palace's frustration, they aren't level. Still 1-0 United.
55' PALACE ARE LEVEL! Ayew is hovering by the far post and he slides forward to get onto the ball when Zaha fizzes his cross into the six-yard box from the left. It's a tap-in from close-range, but VAR is checking this for a possible offside...
54' Ward floats a good cross into the far post from the right and it's just over Ayew's head. It runs through to Zaha but his cross back into the middle is poor and Wan-Bissaka clears his lines.
52' It's well worked by Palace as McArthur touches the ball onto Zaha in the box. He takes it past Maguire on the edge of the box, but Lindelof does well to nick the ball off him to stop him having a shot.
50' McTominay is brought down on the left and United have a free-kick in a good position. Fernandes swings the cross into the box and Sakho's header flicks the ball towards goal and Ward has to get back to head it away.
48' United have made a bright start to the second half and are patiently keeping possession as they play out from the back and try to find a way through Palace's defence.
46' Palace get us back underway for the second half!
Solskjaer will be pleased his side are leading at half-time, but he'll expect much more from his players after the break as they've barely tested Guaita so far. As for Hodgson, he'll be disappointed not to be level after how his side have played as they've looked dangerous each time they've got into the final third.
Rashford's goal gives Manchester United a 1-0 lead over Crystal Palace at the break. It took them 46 minutes to register their first shot on target as Rashford got away from three Palace defenders before coolly slotting the ball into the net. Palace have created the better chances, but Zaha, Milivojevic and Ayew have all been denied by De Gea.
45' + 5' HALF-TIME: CRYSTAL PALACE 0-1 MANCHESTER UNITED.
45' + 4' GOOD SAVE! Palace have a free-kick on the edge of the box and Milivojevic is standing over it. He curls his effort over the wall and it's heading into the top-left corner of the net, but De Gea gets across his line to tip it wide of the post.
45' + 3' Palace are on the attack following the restart and Townsend finds himself in a pocket of space outside the box. He drills a powerful shot into the box and Maguire makes an important block.
M. Rashford
Goal
45' + 1' UNITED LEAD! It looks like Rashford's first touch takes it away from him on the edge of the box, but he keeps hold of it as he goes past Van Aanholt. Two other Palace defenders rush forward to close him down, but he stops with the ball before slotting the ball into the bottom-right corner. 1-0 United!
44' Palace are asking for a penalty here after Zaha went to ground after he tangled with Lindelof in the box. It was clumsy by the defender, but it looks like he got enough on the ball because the referee doesn't point to the spot.
43' Palace are keeping the ball well at the moment and are pushing United back in their own half as they try to get it into the box as well. A sloppy pass from Townsend though which gives United chance to clear.
41' It's better build-up from United as they quickly move upfield after a great throughball from Maguire. He picks out Fernandes and he decides to have a go from outside the box but sends his shot wide of the near post.
40' GOOD SAVE! Van Aanholt's cross is blocked by Lindelof, but his clearance bounces to Ayew. He takes it around the defender before firing his shot at goal. It's a powerful shot, but it's straight at De Gea who punches it away.
38' GOOD CHANCE! Fernandes curls another good corner into the box and it's Maguire that rises highest in the middle to meet it again. He flicks his header on to the far post, but it's just wide of the target.
A. Wan-Bissaka
Yellow Card
36' Wan-Bissaka picks up the first booking of the game after catching McCarthy with a late challenge after a heavy touch took the ball away from him.
34' It's good play from United as they work it into the box from the right and Rashford touches it into Pogba's path. He runs into the back of McArthur and is asking the referee for a penalty, but there was nothing in that.
32' Maguire is down with a head injury after catching Ayew as they both went to head the ball. He's back on his feet after a lengthy check by the medical team and it looks like he's going to be able to carry on.
30' Martial drifts past Ward on the left and squares the ball to Greenwood on the right where he's in a lot of space. He hits the shot first time, but scuffs it and his effort bounces wide of the near post.
28' McArthur gets away from Lindelof and he lifts his cross into the middle of the box where Zaha is waiting in a lot of space. He gets his head onto the ball but sends it over the top of the crossbar.
26' Palace restart the play after the first cooling break of the game with a goal-kick from Guaita.
24' Rashford switches play out to Wan-Bissaka with a wonderful pass out to the right wing. He tries to squeeze it through to Greenwood on the edge of the box, but he overhits the pass and it goes straight out of play.
22' Greenwood cuts inside from the right as he looks for a way forward into the box, but as he gets ready to play a pass into Pogba, he's brought down by Dann and United have a free-kick.
20' United play a series of quick, first-touch passes on the edge of the penalty area to get Rashford into some space. He takes a heavy first touch which gives Townsend chance to nick it off him.
18' Pogba fouls Townsend on the right wing and Palace have a free-kick in a good position. It's Townsend that swings it into the box and he's looking for Sakho at the far post, but Wan-Bissaka gets there first.
16' It's patient play from United again at the moment as they try to find a way through Palace's midfield. McTominay spots Rashford's run through the middle and floats a pass into him, but it's over his head and Dann clears it.
14' United are unbeaten in their last 11 away games against Palace (W8 D3), since a 3-0 loss in May 1991.
12' Another corner for United now and Fernandes' cross is met by Maguire again. He rises above Sakho in the middle of the box, but he can't keep his header down as he sends it sailing over the crossbar.
10' Fernandes swings a corner into the box and it's Maguire that meets it in the middle. It's poor from the captain though and he ends up heading it back across the box only to be cleared by Dann.
8' Palace have made a bright start to this game and are on the attack again after Pogba is dispossessed in midfield. McCarthy plays a throughball forward for Ayew to run onto, but Lindelof reads it well and clears his lines.
6' United don't clear their lines following Ward's looping cross into the box. Zaha can't get it out from under his feet and Maguire nicks it off him but his clearance goes as far as Van Aanholt. He has a go himself, but Wan-Bissaka makes a good block.
4' United are keeping possession well at the moment and are patiently passing it around in Palace's half as they try to open up the home side's defence. Martial gets away from Ward but his pass out to Wan-Bissaka is poor and goes out of play.
2' GOOD SAVE! It's Palace that have the first chance of the game and Zaha shifted away from Wan-Bissaka on the left of the box to curl his shot on target and De Gea gets a strong hand to the shot at his near post and pushes it away.
1' Fernandes gets the game underway for United!
The teams are out on the pitch now, with kick-off just moments away.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also makes two changes to the side that drew with Southampton. Fosu-Mensah makes his first appearance of the season, with McTominay also starting. Matic drops to the bench and Luke Shaw is out with an ankle injury.
Roy Hodgson makes just two changes to his team after their loss to Aston Villa on Sunday as he brings in Townsend and McCarthy. Kouyate starts on the bench, while Christian Benteke misses out through suspension after being sent off after the final whistle in that game.

They face a Palace side that haven't won any of their last five games, with their last victory coming in their first outing after the restart against Bournemouth.
