That's all for today. Thank you for following our live coverage. Until next time, goodbye!
Bayern are on the road this weekend as they travel to Schalke, while Augsburg welcome Union Berlin in the Bundesliga.
Robert Lewandowski's early penalty proved to be enough as Bayern Munich held out for a 1-0 win over Augsburg at the WWK Arena. Although, the Bundesliga leaders survived a second-half scare when substitute Alfred Finnbogason failed to convert from the penalty spot. Nevertheless, the three points are enough to move Hansi Flick's side four points clear at the top of the table, while registering their first clean sheet in eight attempts.
90' + 3' Just over 60 seconds of stoppage time remaining. Bayern are nearly there...
90' + 1' There are going to be four additional minutes at the end of this game.
Javi Martínez
T. Müller
89' A conservative change by Bayern with Muller sacrificed in favour of Javi Martinez.
88' Half a chance for Augsburg as Niederlechner gets his shot away from a tight angle, but it is wide and never troubling Neuer.
87' Muller turns the ball in following a brilliant run by Musiala down the left flank. However, his joy is short-lived as the ball had just crept out of play before the young Englishman delivered his cross.
85' Prior to that miss, Finnbogason had scored each of his previous nine penalties. The Iceland international was denied a perfect 10th, but will be hoping he can still make a decisive impact for the hosts.
83' The French international is back on the pitch and ready to help his side protect their lead in the final seven minutes.
82' Hernandez stays down clutching his arm after he is accidentally clattered by the high boot of Finnbogason. The medical team tend to the Bayern defender, who makes his way to the touchline.
J. Musiala
K. Coman
80' Bayern turn to the bench and introduce Jamal Musiala in place of Coman.
79' The hosts will be left wondering how they are not level in this game. The woodwork came to Bayern's rescue to deny Finnbogason, who almost made the perfect impact from the bench.
77' Augsburg continue to apply the pressure and Jensen races onto a through ball. The substitute checks back onto his left foot, before unleashing a fierce left-footed strike that is not too far over.
A. Finnbogason
Penalty Miss
76' OFF THE POST!!! Normally so deadly from 12 yards, Finnbogason steps up and sends Neuer the wrong way, only to see his penalty come back off the upright.
75' PENALTY TO AUGSBURG! Pavard handles as Iago looks to burst into the box, and the referee points to the spot.
F. Jensen
R. Vargas
72' Meanwhile, Fredrik Jensen replaces Vargas.
F. Niederlechner
A. Hahn
72' Florian Niederlechner also enters the action in place of Hahn.
A. Finnbogason
M. Richter
72' A triple-change for Augsburg! The first sees Richter make way for Alfred Finnbogason.
70' A neat through ball from Kimmich releases Coman down the right. However, his cross is a disappointing one and goes behind for a goal kick.
68' Not far away. Caligiuri cuts inside before letting fly with a powerful left-footed strike from distance. His effort is always rising, but not too far over the bar in all fairness.
L. Sané
S. Gnabry
67' Substitution Serge Gnabry Leroy Sané
C. Tolisso
R. Lewandowski
67' A double-change for Bayern. The first sees Corentin Tolisso replace Gnabry.
66' Bayern have the chance to get in behind as Gnabry threads a neat ball through for Lewandowski, whose first touch lets him down and Uduokhai pokes it away to safety.
64' Defender Uduokhai is one of two Augsburg players to have appeared in every minute in the Bundesliga this season. The other is Gikiewicz, who has made a couple of smart saves for the hosts today.
F. Uduokhai
Yellow Card
62' Uduokhai just catches Gnabry a fraction late and goes into the book.
60' Bayern still a goal to the good as we enter the final half an hour at the WWK Arena. Interestingly, Flick's side have won just once in their last five away games. Can they end that difficult span here?
58' Coman looks to latch onto a lofted ball over the top of the Augsburg defence. But the French international began his run a fraction too early, and is rightly flagged offside.
55' Thankfully for the hosts, Vargas is given the all-clear to continue and returns to the pitch.
54' A concern for Augsburg as Vargas stays down after he is caught by a late challenge. The medical team are quickly on to tend to the Swiss international.
52' The hosts can be pleased with the way they have started the second half. They have established control of proceedings but must capitalise when in the ascendancy, or you feel they eventually be punished.
50' Augsburg may be heavy underdogs here, but they certainly know how to get a result against Bayern. After all, they held them to a 2-2 draw here last season, scoring a last-minute equaliser to ensure a share of the spoils.
48' Good pressure from the hosts as they go straight onto the attack. They force a succession of set-pieces, but Bayern deal with each of them.
46' Bayern get the ball rolling once more in the second half.
T. Strobl
R. Khedira
46' A change for Augsburg at the break with Tobias Strobl replacing Khedira.
They may have generally been on the back foot, but Augsburg are not out of this yet by any means. The hosts have defended well and must continue to do so, while trying to make the most of any opportunities that present themselves at the other end of the field.
Robert Lewandowski's penalty has given Bayern Munich a half-time lead over Augsburg at the WWK Arena. The Bundesliga leaders have had chances to increase their advantage, but a combination of poor finishing and good goalkeeping has prevented them from doing so.
44' COMAN MUST SCORE! The visitors maintain their relentless levels of pressure and Goretzka's cross finds the head of Gnabry, who heads over from six yards out.
43' OFF THE POST! Lewandowski is well-found by Gnabry's cross to the far stick, but the Pole is denied his second goal of the game by the woodwork.
41' Alaba tries his luck from distance for Bayern, but his ambitious attempt is way high and wide of the target.
40' Augsburg must maintain their concentration levels. Bayern are finishing this first half in a strong manner and really testing the hosts' resolve, but they continue to stand firm for now.
38' GOOD SAVE! Gikiewicz comes to the hosts' rescue again with smart reflexes to keep out Gnabry's low drive. The Polish keeper is then quickly to his feet to hold onto Lewandowski's header.
36' Augsburg only manage to half-clear and the ball is sweetly struck on the volley by Kimmich. However, it goes wide of the near post.
34' Falling behind to Lewandowski's penalty means that the hosts have now conceded the first goal in each of their last seven games at the WWK Arena. Can they turn things around here?
32' Bayern look to double their advantage as they work the ball into the Augsburg area. But the hosts continue to stand firm and keep their opponents at bay.
30' They may be struggling at home and in the recent head-to-head record, but there is certainly hope for Augsburg. Bayern have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last seven games across all competitions.
28' Augsburg unfortunate that luck was against them on that occasion. The Fuggerstadter are without a win in six home games - losing four - but must turn things around if this is to be a lucky seventh attempt here.
26' NO PENALTY! Augsburg have a strong shout as the ball ricochets off the hand of Hernandez as he tackles Khedira. But the referee is not interested in the appeals.
24' Lewandowski with a chance this time as he drifts in unmarked at the far post. However, he is unable to keep his shot down.
23' GREAT SAVE! Neat link-up play sees the ball laid off for Gnabry, who is brilliantly denied by Gikiewicz's outstretched hand. The rebound drops to Muller on the edge of the box, but he fires wide.
22' The visitors continue to apply pressure and the ball almost breaks for Muller to hit on the volley. But Augsburg do well to snuff out his threat on this occasion.
20' A nervy moment for Gikiewicz, who fumbles the ball as he tries to collect a corner. However, he just about recovers in time to smother it with Lewandowski ready to pounce.
19' The early goal has certainly taken the wind out of Augsburg's sails. Bayern are looking to press home their advantage as they effortlessly spray the ball around and neatly maintain possession.
17' Lewandowski's penalty was goal number 22 of the season for the Bundesliga's top scorer. His closer challenger is Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland, who has 12.
R. Khedira
Yellow Card
15' Khedira catches Hernandez late and is the first player into the book. That one looked painful!
R. Lewandowski
Penalty Goal
13' LEWANDOWSKI STEPS UP... AND YOU KNOW THE REST!!! 1-0 BAYERN! The number nine calmly sends the goalkeeper the wrong way as he clinically tucks away the spot-kick.
12' PENALTY TO BAYERN! The referee points to the spot after Oxford is adjudged to have handled in the box. His arms were by his side, but indeed struck.
11' Lewandowski is completely unmarked as he heads over from Kimmich's free-kick. However, his blushes are spared as the offside flag had already been raised.
10' Augsburg look to launch a counter with a lofted ball over the top of the Bayern defence. But in trademark fashion, Neuer races out of goal to clear the danger for the visitors.
8' After receiving the required attention, Goretzka returns to the thick of the action.
7' Goretzka is in need of attention. The midfielder goes down clutching his throat after he was accidentally caught by a trailing arm. He should be OK, though.
6' Lewandowski very much the man in form for Bayern - when he is never?! The Pole has scored nine times in his last six appearances across all competitions.
4' At the other end, Kimmich's whipped corner is met by Lewandowski, but he heads straight at the goalkeeper from 10 yards out.
2' A nervy moment for Bayern early on! An untimely slip from Boateng allows Khedira to attempt to thread the ball into the box. However, Alaba digs his central defensive partner out of a hole by shielding it behind for a goal kick.
1' The referee blows his whistle and Augsburg get the match underway!
The teams are out on the field and kick-off is upon us.
Bayern have won nine of their last 11 meetings with Augsburg, whose last victory in this fixture came courtesy of a 1-0 success in May 2015.
As for Bayern, Hansi Flick makes just a single alteration from their narrow win over Freiburg. Lucas Hernandez replaces Alphonso Davies at left-back, while Serge Gnabry has shaken off an injury to start on the right of the three-man attacking trio behind lone striker Robert Lewandowski. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting misses out after his wife went into labour.
Heiko Herrlich makes two changes to the Augsburg from the defeat by Werder Bremen on Saturday. Marco Richter returns from suspension to lead the line up front, while Iago comes in at right-back. Alfred Finnbogason and Mads Pedersen drop to the bench.
