UEFA Champions League
UEFA Europa League
UEFA Europa League Qualifiers

Tottenham march on under Mourinho then. They look more likely to return to the Champions League with each passing game. The scrap for the Premier League's European places is worth keeping an eye on. That's all for now. Goodbye!
Tottenham return to 5th in the Premier League, courtesy of their latest winning goal in the league since August 2009. They're only a point behind Chelsea, who have a game in hand against Man Utd. Villa stay 17th, one point above the drop zone. It's looking tight down there too.
Tottenham get a third consecutive Premier League win for the first time since February last year! They are well and truly back. The visitors continue their winning streak at Villa Park thanks to Son's late winner in an entertaining game. Villa look crestfallen and so they should be. They tested Spurs more than enough to deserve a point here, but couldn't hold on right at the death.

90' + 2' Spurs have two more minutes to win this. Aurier unusually comes inside from the right to feed Lo Celso. Lo Celso shoots from outside the box and Reina drops low to claim it.
90' + 1' Engels acrobatically puts another Spurs delivery out for a corner. Reina bravely comes out to punch it away. Trezeguet thinks he's won a throw off Winks but the decision goes Spurs' way. Villa are holding on for the draw now.
90' Tottenham look in control as we enter added time. There'll be four added minutes here.
88' Tottenham think they can win this. Lucas slides the ball to Aurier. Targett slides in to block yet another Aurier cross. Hause gets rid as soon as he can.
F. Guilbert

85' Now Tottenham look more likely to find a winner! Lucas heads wide from Lo Celso's corner. Spurs get a second corner as Reina saves Son's shot from the left of the box! Lo Celso's ball comes in and Son is denied again.

82' Tottenham have survived that spell of Villa pressure. Lucas sees off Luiz and Targett gets in the way of Aurier's ball in. Spurs corner.
81' Trezeguet wriggles his way towards the penalty box from Grealish's spectacular dipping cross.Aurier gets across before the Egyptian can capitalise on it. Targett fires a routine cross straight at Lloris seconds later.
80' Lloris elects to punch away Targett's corner. Winks humps the ball upfield but there's no one in lilywhite there to get on the end of it.
78' Villa keep coming. Guilbert tries firing in a cross with his left foot but it's nothing that Lloris can't handle. Shortly after, Trezeguet shoots from distance and it ricochets out for a Villa corner.
77' Luiz spots Grealish to his left and Grealish fizzes a cross towards the centre of the box. Sanchez sticks a leg out to intercept before Trezeguet can reach it.
76' Tottenham clear the free-kick on the first try. Villa are still putting together some nice passages of play but aren't creating many chances of note.
75' Grealish holds the ball up to the right of the penalty area. Winks charges in to trip him over. It must be tough to be so good. Villa have a free-kick just outside the box.
73' This game is ridiculous. Grealish finds himself a pocket of space outside Spurs' box and shoots only for Alderweireld to get in the way. Spurs counter straight away and Son is denied by a combination of Reina and Hause! Villa look so vulnerable on the break.
71' Spurs look dangerous every time they get forward now. Luiz fouls Alli in the centre of the park to slow the game down for a second.
A. El Ghazi
70' Substitution Anwar El Ghazi Mahmoud Ibrahim Hassan
70' Tottenham blow another opportunity to go 3-2 up! Lo Celso spots Aurier's run down the right and finds him. Reina blocks Aurier's cross at his near post and it lands to Bergwijn whose effort is blocked! It's a Spurs corner which Villa defend well.
68' Villa huff and puff a bit more. El Ghazi nods a tame header wide from open play and Villa soon win yet another corner. Sanchez hooks the ball away.
66' Grealish is continuing to be influential for Villa. He's had a direct hand in 13 goals in the Premier League this season now - 7 goals and 6 assists. That's three more than any other English midfielder. An England call-up is surely coming his way.
64' Villa win another corner down their left. The ball comes in from Grealish and Engels' header is going wide. El Ghazi gets on the end of it to head at goal from close range but Lloris snaffles it up at the second attempt.
62' Spurs are starting to look more and more menacing. Son collects Lucas' pass into the box and Reina makes a fabulous save to deny him! The South Korean soon gets into the box again but can't see off Villa's defenders.

60' Villa and Tottenham have had 13 shots each in this game so far. Can all football matches be like this please?
59' Villa play themselves into trouble on the edge of their box. Bergwijn fires a left-footed low shot straight into the arms of Reina.
58' Targett fires in another excellent effort from the corner and Hause beats two Spurs defenders to head over.
57' Winks tries to find Son with a cheeky chip over Villa's defence. Son goes down under pressure from Hause. No penalty. Meanwhile, Villa go up the other end and win a corner.
55' Tottenham go forward in an attempt to regain the lead. The visitors win a corner as Aurier's cross is blocked by Hause. Dier can't get a clean shot away when it comes in. Villa clear.
J. Grealish

B. Engels
53' Goal Bjorn Engels
53' Villa are doing their best to create another scoring chance. Grealish drops deep to find El Ghazi's run behind Spurs' defence. El Ghazi plays the ball off Aurier for a corner.
51' That was very nearly a lovely goal from El Ghazi! Guilbert lofts the ball into the box from near the byline. Samatta nods it down for El Ghazi whose first-time volley is straight at Lloris.
49' Don't count against Spurs scoring again on the break. Son gallops free down the right and approaches Villa's box. The South Korean fires a low cross in the direction of Alli. Villa intercept and get it away.
47' Winks clears Targett's cross into the area. Suddenly Bergwijn is off on the counter! Bergwijn is just about to chip the onrushing Reina when Guilbert gets in to intercept! Alli handballs the corner that follows. Cue ironic cheers from the Villa fans.
46' Villa start a little more cautiously. Grealish picks up the ball deep and gets caught by a sliding challenge from Lucas. Villa free-kick.
45' Villa get the second half of this match going. No changes at half-time.
Son is now the sixth player to reach 50 PL goals for Spurs, joining Kane, Sheringham, Keane, Defoe and Eriksen. He's been key to Tottenham for the past few seasons. Tottenham are heading for 23 consecutive games unbeaten away to promoted sides in the Premier League. Can Villa turn this game around again in the second half?
Son's goal on the brink of half-time gives Tottenham a fortunate lead. It's been a ding-dong affair so far, with both sides exchanging chances. Villa have had the better of the play since taking the lead early on but Spurs look consistently threatening on the counter-attack.

45' PENALTY FOR TOTTENHAM! On first glance, it looked like Engels got the ball but it turns out he only got Bergwijn. Spurs will get a chance to grab the lead before half-time! 'It's not football anymore,' the Villa fans chant.
44' Bergwijn beats the offside trap from Winks' over-the-top pass. Engels slides in, apparently fairly, and Bergwijn accidentally knocks the ball out of play. Hang on though, the officials are now looking at this again...
43' The referee stops play as the officials look at Engels' block for a possible handball. On second viewing, it clearly hits his chest. Play on.
42' Spurs nearly take the lead! Davies plays a blistering one-two with Bergwijn and squares it to Alli who's all alone in the area! Reina saves Alli's first-time shot at point-blank range and Engels blocks Bergwijn's follow-up shot on the line! Villa survive for now.
40' El Ghazi swings a ball into the box for Samutta to chase. It's too powerful though and bounces straight through to Lloris.
39' Alli escapes the attention of Drinkwater but can't find the right pass for Son. Grealish tries to beat Aurier down the left but can't get past the Ivorian. This game is great fun.
37' El Ghazi has a pop from range and stings the palms of Lloris who pushes it away. El Ghazi gets a second bite of the cherry seconds later as his cross hits Sanchez before landing safely with Lloris. Villa appeal for handball. The ref isn't interested.
35' Tottenham miss a chance to take the lead! Son flicks Alli in down the right-hand channel and Alli bears down on goal. Reina comes out to close him down and Alli rolls wide. To be fair to Alli, it was always going to be difficult to score from there.
33' Villa get a third corner. Spurs finally clear and they can counter! Lucas powers down the left into the box and Hause gets across to block his shot.
32' Grealish's corner leads to a goalmouth scramble! Hause wins the header but not cleanly. Lloris rises high to paw it away for another Villa corner.
31' Villa are no doubt frustrated by that goal. They've been the better team in the opening half hour of this match. Luiz shoots from range but it's blocked. He then feeds Targett wide left and Targett fires a cross into a dangerous area. Aurier sticks out a foot to divert it out for a corner.
29' Alderweireld is the third Spurs player to score and score an own goal in the PL after Gareth Bale did it against Liverpool in November 2012 and Chris Armstrong did it against Arsenal in March 2000. So now you know.

27' Goal Toby Alderweireld
26' Another Villa attack breaks down as Drinkwater fouls Lucas just in front of Tottenham's box. Spurs take the free-kick quickly and Bergwijn slides in Aurier, whose cross is blocked by Targett. Spurs corner.
25' Tottenham clear the first corner and hand Villa another. This time Grealish's delivery bounces way wide of the far post.
23' Villa continue to look for a second goal. After a few attempts, Grealish latches onto Drinkwater's pass into the box and centres for Samatta. It ends in a Villa corner. Dier is furious.
21' El Ghazi whips another cross into Tottenham's box and Samatta gets in front of Spurs' two centre-backs to head powerfully over. The Dutch winger's causing the visitors problems at the moment.
19' Spurs clear the resulting corner as Alderweireld blocks Samatta's shot. The visitors counter and Alli nods a header harmlessly wide from Bergwijn's cross. This is entertaining end-to-end stuff so far.
18' Villa play a spot of keep-ball in their box as Tottenham half-heartedly press. Grealish skips clear down the left and cuts back to give Luiz an open net. Luiz has to score, but Davies somehow gets in the way and deflects it over the bar!
17' Spurs are starting to wake up. Lucas receives the ball from Son and rolls a low shot wide.
15' Chance for Tottenham! Lucas finds Alli in the centre of the box. Alli shoots but it's blocked by Konsa. Up the other end, Lloris claims El Ghazi's cross.
13' Villa get a corner down their left off Alderweireld. Spurs clear it comfortably. Only Watford have scored more own goals in the Premier League than Spurs' five since the start of last season. Their defence has been patchy for the last two seasons now.
12' Villa are on top at the moment. Drinkwater finds Grealish who tiptoes his way to the edge of the box. Villa's captain finds Samatta with a low pass but Alderweireld quickly boots it away before the Tanzanian can control it.
10' That early goal has given Villa a platform to build on. Grealish skips inside from the left and curls a shot just wide of the right-hand post.

Own Goal
9' Own goal Toby Alderweireld
8' Alderweireld swings a direct ball forward towards Son who loses the header. El Ghazi counters down the right wing and...
6' Things get a little ill-tempered as Aurier clatters into the back of Grealish. By the way, Aurier's first foul on Grealish was the 112th time Grealish has been fouled this season. No player got fouled more in the whole of last season. Villa's captain really is crucial to how they play.
4' El Ghazi and Targett stand over the free-kick, about 30 yards from goal. El Ghazi steps forward and swishes a decent right-footed effort over the crossbar.
3' Son is escorted off the pitch briefly but is fine to come straight back on. Aurier loses possession and Villa come forward down their right. The home side get a free-kick as Aurier brings Grealish down off the ball.
1' The game starts brightly. Samatta goes down the inside-left channel and is intercepted. Son bursts forward on the counter, checks inside past Engels and gets clattered by Konsa, who wins the ball fairly.
1' The visitors Tottenham get this match underway!
The two sides are out on the Villa Park pitch. Villa are wearing their traditional claret and blue shirts and white shorts. Tottenham are also in their home kit. Let's go!
Tottenham have dominated Villa in recent years. Spurs have beaten Villa in 10 of their last 11 meetings in all competitions, losing just once 1-0 at White Hart Lane back in April 2015. Villa haven't beaten their North London visitors here at Villa Park since a 2-1 win back in January 2008. However, Spurs have won just two of their last 18 league games on the road. Can Villa grab a very helpful three points?
Villa make two changes from their 2-1 loss to Bournemouth last time out. Engels replaces Tyrone Mings is out with tonsillitis, while Drinkwater starts ahead of Nakamba in midfield. There are four changes to the Spurs side that defeated Southampton 3-2 in the FA Cup. Davies, Sanchez, Bergwijn and Alli come in. Tanganga, Vertonghen and Ndombele drop to the bench, while Ryan Sessegnon doesn't make the matchday squad.

Aston Villa return from the winter break ready to fight for survival. Dean Smith's team start this game 17th in the Premier League, just outside the relegation zone. While they've had no problems scoring, especially at home, Villa need to tighten up their defence if they want to avoid relegation.
